champagne + soup for weekend indulgence

I just discovered this champagne/sparkling wine.

I'm thinking it might make a delightful addition to Melanie's bridal shower. Perhaps you've had it before? I'm not a reliable connoisseur of the bubbly, but I'm pretty into this Sofia Blanc De Blancs. It's a little sweet and perfectly floral. And goes nicely with spicy summer squash soup.

Have a positively beautiful weekend. I can't wait to get my hands dirty out back.

Even better- it also comes in a hot pink can with a bendy straw! Perfect for picnics and such!

So, you're going to love the story behind that wine - Francis Ford Coppola made it for his daughter's (Sophia, obviously) wedding. It's her wedding wine! It's also SUPER good. We toyed with serving it at our wedding, but it felt just a little to pricey for so many people. Sighhhh... PERFICT for the shower though. Lovely.

This is one of my favorite 'champagnes' - and I can't wait to pair it with soup (great idea!). Gorgeous blog - looking forward to many more lovely mornings!

Sofia Sparkling is my go to gift for all the girls, it's pink and bubbly. They've also got a beautiful Rose.

I had a meeting days ago with my partners in costa rica investment opportunities and we drank a great champagne, the taste was really delicious and the dinner, oh my god delicous too.
